There are plans for a solar farm to be installed in Westerleigh. This isn’t a proposal being made by the Council, it is by RWE Renewables with regards to the early stages of their proposals for a solar farm and battery energy storage scheme.
A public drop-in event will be held on Tuesday 20th February at Westerleigh Village Hall from 3pm – 7pm. There is also a website with details of the proposals, which you can see here: https://uk.rwe.com/project-proposals/mousewell-solar-farm/
