Due to roadworks, the Y1 is now running along Rodford Way instead of going down Shire Way and the bit of Westerleigh Road between the two roundabouts – please see map.
First Bus have started the diversion today even though the roadworks on Westerleigh Road don’t start until tomorrow (Friday 21st)
The Pitchcombe bus stop will definitely be served, but you may be able to flag down the bus or get the driver to stop at the other stops on the south side of Rodford Way.
Bus routes will be normal on Saturday and Sunday but the Y1 will be diverted on weekdays for most of next week at least.
The only buses running along Shire Way will be the 620 to/from Bath and the 967 secondary school bus.
There will need to be another diversion for the 620 and the 967 when they start work in Shire Way in a week or so. We’ll put up another post when we know the details.
