South Gloucestershire Council have advised us of a temporary road closure which will be on Rodford Way from 3rd April, between 9:30am and 3:30pm for five days.
A diversion will be in place. They will endeavour to maintain access for residents of Witcombe, Bredon and Kelston Close, and users of the QEII playing fields. Where there is space, they will only close half of the side junction at a time and send the traffic in and out via the other half. Fortunately, the works are expected to take place during the school Easter holiday break.
There may possibly be short periods where they have to totally close the junctions, but this should not be longer than 10 mins and will only be at a few of them.
