At a Full Council Meeting on 1st September 2021, Members resolved to declare a Climate and Nature (Ecological) Emergency. A working group has been set up to prepare an Action Plan to address the situation.
The Council is committed to reducing it’s own carbon emissions and is currently undertaking an audit of it’s activities to see where improvements can be made.
