The Parish Council has been notified of upcoming roadworks along Besom Lane in Westerleigh. The works will be taking place from 29 January 2019 for a period of 18 months. There will be a three-day road closure during this time, although we don’t yet know when this will be. We will update the Parish Council website, Facebook page and our notice board at St Peter’s Church in Wapley once we have this information.
The alternative route to avoid the road closure will be Westerleigh Road, Shorthill Road, Codrington Road and Wapley Hill (and vice versa). You can read the Order from South Gloucestershire Council here and see a map of the diversion route here.
